The registered office of a company or LLP is the main place of business. The Ministry of Corporate Affairs will send all official correspondence to the mentioned address.
The registered office address can be changed within the local area of town or city by simply giving notice to the concerned registrar within 30 days from the date of change. But, for moving the office to other state, a special resolution needs to be passed and an advertisement must be placed in a newspaperbefore giving notice to the government.
